Here is an environment piece from my personal work bucket. This is inspired by the landscape of Petra, Jordan.

I have modeled it in blender and rendered in cycles and finish it in Photoshop. Big shout out to Florent Lebrun for his tutorial, learned few techniques that I have tried to apply here. Also to Ian Hubert for his crazy lazy videos from YouTube. You rock man.
